We are looking for a **Category Manager** to lead the product strategy for the assigned category, coordinating product launches, price range definition, and product evolution—from conceptualization through to market launch. This end-to-end vision will enable decisions aligned with company objectives and market needs.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Lead category strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals, brand positioning, and market evolution.
* Define, structure, and develop the catalog and collections—from opportunity identification and briefing development to launch and commercial follow-up.
* Manage the full product lifecycle across all stages—introduction, growth, maturity, and decline—ensuring a balanced, profitable, and sustainable assortment.
* Define and manage pricing, positioning, and range strategy, ensuring consistency with the company’s value proposition.
* Analyze trends, competition, and consumer behavior to anticipate business opportunities and translate them into new product proposals.
* Identify, evaluate, and onboard strategic suppliers and partners that bring innovation, differentiation, and added value to the category.
* Coordinate and lead product development together with internal teams involved—from briefing through to market launch.
* Collaborate cross-functionally with Design, R&D, Marketing, Omnichannel, Logistics, Procurement, Technical, and Quality teams to ensure technical, commercial, and operational viability of each project.
* Oversee product launches, ensuring proper execution, adherence to timelines, and alignment with brand strategy.
* Monitor and analyze category performance using sales, profitability, turnover, and key KPIs—and propose corrective actions when needed.
* Manage the category budget and ensure appropriate resource planning.
* Maintain and strengthen relationships with key suppliers and collaborators—including coordination with international offices.
**Requirements:**
* University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing, Engineering, or related field.
* Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Category Manager, Product Manager, or similar role—preferably in furniture, interior decoration, or lifestyle sectors.
* Knowledge of product lifecycle management and experience developing sustainable and profitable catalogs.
* Experience in market analysis, trend tracking, and consumer behavior analysis.
* Ability to coordinate cross-functional projects involving multiple teams.
* Results-oriented mindset, with analytical capability to assess sales and margins for decision-making.
* Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
* Advanced English proficiency; additional languages are a plus.
* Proficiency in product analytics and management tools such as advanced Excel, Power BI, or similar.
