Vocation and empathy in resident care We are looking for a geriatric caregiver or nursing assistant for a residential care center in Terrassa. We need someone with vocation who wishes to carry out their work in an environment where empathy, respect, and innovation are part of everyday life. Responsibilities include following the work route established by the nursing coordinator, assisting residents with daily hygiene and repositioning, and supporting their personal autonomy and participation in the center's social life. The role also involves serving meals, assisting residents who cannot eat independently, and monitoring residents' constant hydration. Additional tasks include making beds, collecting laundry, administering oral medication as prescribed by nursing staff (excluding high-risk drugs), and collaborating in caregiving activities and transportation to therapies or activities. We offer an indefinite contract with a part-time schedule of 20 hours per week, afternoon shift from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM\. Immediate start in a collaborative and respectful environment, with continuous training and social benefits. * Vocational Training Cycle (FP) in Auxiliary Nursing Care, Vocational Training Cycle (FP) in Care for Dependent Persons, or Social-Healthcare Certificate Program (CP) for Dependent Persons in Social Institutions. * Minimum of 6 months’ experience in a similar position is desirable. * Additional training in gerontology, food handling, or related fields. * Completion of training courses related to this field, as well as complementary training promoting equality, will be positively considered.
