**EXPERIENCED RETAIL ASSISTANT – ORIHUELA / VEGA BAJA AREA** A local retail establishment is seeking a responsible and versatile individual to serve customers. **Mandatory Requirement:** * Proven prior experience as a retail assistant in retail stores, supermarkets, grocery stores, gas stations, bakeries, kiosks, or similar establishments. * Demonstrable experience handling cash registers, processing card payments via POS terminal, restocking shelves, and providing direct customer service. Applications without verifiable prior experience in a similar role will not be considered. **Main Responsibilities:** * Customer service and advisory support. * Cash handling and POS terminal operation. * Restocking and organizing products. * Receiving and placing merchandise. * Inventory control and monitoring of expiration dates. * Maintaining store order and cleanliness. * Opening or closing the store as required. * Performing all tasks necessary for smooth point-of-sale operations. **Candidate Profile We Seek:** * Responsible, honest, punctual, and organized. * Strong interpersonal skills and customer-oriented attitude. * Ability to work independently. * Agility and confidence in handling cash transactions. * Initiative and ability to resolve common retail situations. * Capacity to perform restocking duties and handle moderately heavy boxes. * Availability to work rotating shifts and weekends according to the schedule. * Ability to commute to the workplace located in the Orihuela/Vega Baja area. **We Offer:** * Employment with a stable business. * Initial training on the specific operations of the point of sale. * Positive and supportive work environment. * Employment contract and working hours according to agreed terms. * Potential for continued employment and job stability.
