Focus on safety, quality, and collaboration. **Americold – Helping Our Customers Feed the World** Here at **Americold Barcelona**, we are recruiting for the position of **Maintenance Technician** Reporting hierarchically to the General Manager and functionally to the Maintenance Manager, the candidate will support, contribute to, drive, and implement company initiatives and follow the execution of the AMERICOLD strategy. The candidate will be responsible for corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance of machinery and facilities, as well as individual management of the CMMS. We seek a responsible Maintenance Technician who performs preventive, corrective, and adjusted maintenance of our machinery and facilities to ensure their proper operation. The selected candidate will review work orders, supervise external vendor tasks, and manage inventory and spare parts using the CMMS. They will also support material and component transportation between areas when required. Additionally, they will ensure safety, cleanliness, and compliance with quality standards, HACCP, occupational health, and ISO requirements. We seek a committed, proactive professional focused on maintaining a safe and collaborative work environment.### **Requirements** ### **Technical Knowledge** * Education in electricity, mechanics, or related field, and minimum 4 years’ experience in an equivalent position. * Knowledge of preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance, as well as CMMS usage. * Ability to interpret work orders, operate authorized machinery, and comply with safety, quality, HACCP, and ISO regulations. **Soft Skills** * Practical, flexible, proactive profile with a positive attitude. * Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. * Responsible, autonomous, reliable individual committed to safety and company values. **This position will be split between the Palau Solità i Plegamans and Santa Perpètua facilities.** **The role includes a rotating shift system covering day, evening, and night shifts.**
