Job Description
At **Sofitel Barcelona Skipper**, we are seeking a **Maintenance Supervisor** to join the hotel’s Maintenance team.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Coordinate and supervise the daily tasks of the maintenance team.
* Monitor preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance activities.
* Prioritize incidents and organize work according to operational urgency.
* Coordinate interventions with external companies and suppliers.
* Track materials, tools, inventory, and spare parts.
* Collaborate in shift planning, team organization, and attendance control.
* Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and occupational risk prevention procedures.
* Provide support in cost control, procurement, and updating of tools or internal portals.
* Substitute for the Maintenance Director during absences, when required.
Requirements
* Technical education, preferably a Higher Vocational Degree or equivalent.
* Previous experience of 3–5 years in maintenance, ideally within 4* or 5* hotels or buildings with high operational demands.
* Knowledge of electricity, HVAC, plumbing, mechanics, and general installations.
* Ability to coordinate teams and prioritize tasks.
* Ability to work collaboratively and maintain clear communication with other departments.
* Familiarity with brand standards, sustainability, and energy efficiency.
* Problem-solving, autonomous, practical, and service-oriented profile.
* Good command of Spanish and intermediate English.
* Availability to work rotating shifts.
