Hit play! **What do we expect from you?** As a **Product Data Analyst**, you will play a key role in defining, implementing, and analyzing data that helps us understand how our product is used and how we can improve it. Your mission will be to **turn data into decisions**: from designing and validating events in Amplitude to creating dashboards that visualize the impact of our features. Technically, it’s essential that you have: * Experience in defining and implementing events in Amplitude JS or similar product analytics tools. * Advanced experience with SQL, including writing complex queries, optimizing query performance, and working directly with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.). * Ability to transform event data into actionable insights that help improve product performance and adoption. * 2+ years of experience as a Product Data Analyst, Data Analyst, or in a similar role, preferably within a SaaS company. * Ability to analyze key user and business metrics (Retention, Conversion, Activation). * Skill in prioritizing and balancing the needs of multiple teams (Product, Development, CS, Marketing). * Experience leading and analyzing A/B tests to validate hypotheses and optimize product features. * Familiarity with user behavior analytics tools such as Mixpanel, Amplitude, and Google Analytics 4 (GA4\). * Effective communication: translating technical results (SQL, statistics, events) into clear, business-oriented language for PMs or non-technical teams. * Proactivity and initiative. Not just reporting data, but proposing hypotheses, experiments, and improvements. * Attention to detail. Maintaining consistency and integrity of the Tracking Plan and data sources. What will you do at Sesame? * Define and implement key events in Amplitude JS to track user behavior and product performance in detail. * Work closely with the development team to ensure correct event implementation and accurate, useful data capture. * Conduct detailed analyses using SQL and work directly with databases to gain precise insights into feature adoption and product usage. * Generate regular reports on key product metrics (KPIs) and present findings to company stakeholders. * Optimize and automate SQL queries to improve data extraction efficiency and support strategic decision-making. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Marketing, Customer Success, Development) to understand data analysis needs and provide actionable recommendations. * Lead A/B experimentation to validate product improvements and analyze results to optimize user experience. * Create and maintain dashboards and visualizations to monitor KPIs in real time. * Use advanced analytics tools like Google Analytics 4 (GA4\) to monitor user behavior across all digital properties. * Ensure proper integration and data flow between ETL tools and company databases.
