We are currently looking for a Workshop Technician to join the Sandvik Mining team at our Madrid (San Fernando de Henares) site. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES: * Perform maintenance, repair, and inspection activities using various tools and techniques, with limited supervision. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: * Repair and replace components following equipment technical instructions and manuals. * Interpret basic mechanical drawings and maintenance, assembly, and disassembly manuals to carry out required alignments and adjustments. * Independently perform maintenance tasks and verify task results, monitoring operating equipment to detect potential issues. * Report and document performed work in accordance with relevant procedures and work instructions. * Basic customer communication: able to explain basic operational procedures and refer to the responsible person. * Provide feedback to line manager/team leader regarding equipment maintenance and service challenges. * Ensure all work procedures (using provided tools) are carried out in compliance with safety standards. * Prepare and execute all activities in accordance with SHEQ standards, regulations, procedures, instructions, and guidelines, promoting awareness—including reporting anomalies to others.
