R&D Equipment Development Mechanic

Position Summary: We are seeking a manufacturing and assembly professional for R&D, responsible for building tooling and prototypes, assembling advanced equipment, and collaborating in process management and quality control. Key Responsibilities: 1. Participation in the construction of innovative tooling and prototypes. 2. Assembly and commissioning of specific and advanced equipment. 3. Collaboration in process management and quality control in R&D. We are looking for a skilled individual in manufacturing and assembly for our Research and Development department in Valdemoro. You will be responsible for constructing tooling, lightweight metal structures, and prototypes. You will participate in the assembly and commissioning of specific equipment, such as radar towers, advanced cooling systems, and solar trackers, ensuring their proper operation. Additionally, you will collaborate in managing assembly processes for small and medium production runs, and in quality control of components. Your support to the engineering team in resolving technical issues will be highly valued. A background in mechanical or electromechanical engineering and experience in manufacturing is required. Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems, polyurethane (PUR) injection, pressurized water circuits, and refrigeration systems is desirable. Proficiency in CAD 2D and 3D software (SolidWorks, CATIA, Solid Edge) and Microsoft Office is desirable. Experience in PLC programming (Siemens, Omron) is also desirable. Vocational Training Certificate (Intermediate Level) in Mechanical or Electromechanical Engineering. Minimum 4 years of experience in mechanical or electromechanical assembly and maintenance. Experience in manufacturing processes for medium or small production runs. Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Knowledge or experience in PUR injection processes. Knowledge or experience in manufacturing and assembly of pressurized water circuits. Knowledge or experience in refrigeration systems. Proficiency in CAD 2D and 3D (SolidWorks, CATIA, Solid Edge). Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project). PLC programming experience (Siemens, Omron, or others) is desirable. English level B1.
