At Irizar Forge, a leading industrial forging company based in Gipuzkoa (Lazkao) and part of Royal Van Beest Group, we are looking for a **Quality Controller** to join our team. **Job Purpose** * Ensure compliance with established quality requirements. * Coordinate inspection and testing activities. * Manage deviations and non\-conformities. * Provide technical support to operations. * Drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency. **Main responsibilities** * Prepare and manage Inspection Plans. * Coordinate and supervise inspection and testing teams (NDT, DT and load testing). * Monitor manufacturing processes and identify deviations. * Manage internal and supplier non\-conformities. * Provide technical support on the shop floor regarding quality\-related issues. * Coordinate and manage customer inspections. * Define, design and manage inspection and testing fixtures and tooling. * Manage the calibration of equipment and measuring instruments. * Participate in product and process improvement projects. **Requirements:** * Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related field, or equivalent proven experience. * Experience in industrial environments, preferably within the metalworking or mechanical industry. * Knowledge of metrology, NDT/DT testing and engineering drawing interpretation. * Experience working with SAP. * Proficiency in design software (SolidWorks or equivalent). * Advanced level of English. * Strong organizational, planning and decision\-making skills. * Excellent communication skills and a results\-oriented mindset. **Key competencies** * Leadership and team management. * Strong technical capability and decision\-making skills. * Organization and planning. * Continuous improvement and process optimization mindset. * Problem\-solving and incident management. * Commitment, accountability and results orientation. **What we offer:** * A professional opportunity within a demanding and dynamic industrial environment. * Participation in continuous improvement initiatives. * Professional development in a highly technical environment. * Integration into multidisciplinary teams.
