We’re looking for you!** We seek a candidate with a background in **process development, industrial scale-up, and pilot plant operations**, who — reporting to the **Engineering Manager** — will lead the mission of enabling safe, reliable, and efficient transfer of R\+D-developed products to industrial-scale pilot manufacturing, providing technical support to assess process viability and scale-up considerations. ### **What will your day-to-day look like at Matteco?** * **R\+D Collaboration and Leadership**: You will support R\+D during product development by providing input on process feasibility, manufacturability, and scale-up risks. Additionally, you will lead process design, optimization, and troubleshooting in collaboration with the Engineering Manager. * **Development and Scale-Up**: You will lead process development from laboratory to pilot plant execution. You will translate R\+D product requirements and formulations into scalable, robust manufacturing processes and define lab-scale prototypes for optimization and scale-up. * **Industrialization and Validation**: You will execute and support industrialization activities, including pilot testing, process validation, and ramp readiness preparation. You will support process and product validation alongside the Quality team and participate in risk and safety assessments. * **CAPEX Management and Equipment**: You will provide technical input for CAPEX decisions related to process requirements and support equipment installation, commissioning, and qualification. You will also supply technical information for equipment procurement and specifications. * **Documentation and Continuous Improvement**: You will define process specifications, operating ranges, and critical parameters. You will create SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and technical documentation and contribute to change management for process modifications.
