### **Job Description** The Maintenance Technician may also support facilities other than production, such as R\+D laboratories, office facilities, as well as technical buildings (utilities) and systems for logistics and storage. May supervise third-party technicians. * **Modifications and improvements** + Carries out modifications and overhaul tasks based on work orders and/or supervisor's instructions. + Proposes improvements to equipment, machinery, and other areas based on maintenance experience and knowledge. + Consults with management on quality issues, technical problems, etc. + Orders the (re)manufacturing of certain components from drawings. + May perform various techniques (welding, lathe and sheet metal work, machining). * **Reporting** + Records all maintenance activities in appropriate maintenance management systems to ensure complete documentation and visibility of the status and history of all equipment, archives all technical data. * **Compliance** + Works in compliance with all relevant safety regulations and procedures (work permits, LoTo, etc.), as well as technical standards. + Reports potentially hazardous and/or unsafe situations, takes appropriate action in case of imminent unsafe conditions.
