Main responsibilities include: * Conducting analytical control tasks specific to wastewater treatment plants and their collector systems. * Collecting samples of wastewater and sludge. * Maintaining, cleaning, verifying, and calibrating laboratory equipment and instrumentation, with due consideration for the specific requirements of sanitation and treatment facility operations. * Performing basic plant monitoring: aeration control, equipment start-up and shutdown parameters, control parameters, system reset procedures, etc. * Collaborating with foremen and operators on various tasks including sampling, instrumentation and laboratory equipment maintenance, etc. * Archiving analytical data and preparing process and analytical reports.
