Job Summary: Veolia is seeking a Laboratory Technician for a Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) to perform analytical control, sampling, and equipment maintenance at a treatment facility. Key Responsibilities: 1. Perform in-house analytical control of a wastewater treatment plant. 2. Carry out sampling of wastewater/sludge. 3. Maintain and clean laboratory equipment, verification and calibration of instrumentation, etc., with specific considerations for work in sanitation and treatment facilities. Main responsibilities include: * Performing in-house analytical control tasks specific to a wastewater treatment plant and its collector system. * Carrying out sampling of wastewater/sludge. * Maintaining and cleaning laboratory equipment, verifying and calibrating instrumentation, etc., with specific considerations for work in sanitation and treatment facilities. * Performing basic plant control: aeration control, equipment start-up and shutdown parameters, control parameters, reactivation of installations, etc. * Collaborating with foremen and operators on various tasks including sampling, instrumentation maintenance, and laboratory equipment maintenance, etc. * Archiving analytical data and preparing process and analytical reports.
