A close-knit and transparent environment with autonomy and flexibility Location: Madrid, MD, ES Professional Profile: Corporate Required Experience: Over 2 years of experience Work Modality: Hybrid **At Indra Group, we protect what matters most.** We lead the development of cutting-edge technological solutions that reinforce national and international security. **Join our European project team!** As part of our positioning as a leading company in the defense sector, we aim to strengthen our team with an AI Operations Manager for strategic defense projects. **What will you do?** * We seek an AI Operations Manager—a key role within the Artificial Intelligence area in Defense and Security—reporting directly to the Head of AI of D\&S, with the mission to structure, coordinate, and accelerate the execution of strategic initiatives. * You will act as the central coordination point among technical teams, clients, and internal stakeholders, ensuring proper planning, tracking, and delivery of AI projects. * Your primary responsibility will be to translate strategic objectives into executable operational plans, guaranteeing visibility, alignment, and milestone achievement. * The role includes defining and managing roadmaps, tracking projects, client liaison, and providing direct support to the technical team to remove blockers and optimize execution. * Additionally, you will contribute to the growth of the area by coordinating with universities and research centers, as well as participating in talent acquisition and evaluation processes. * This profile will scale the operational capacity of the AI area, reducing managerial workload on leadership and increasing efficiency, delivery quality, and strategic alignment of initiatives. **What are we looking for in you?** Don’t worry if you don’t meet 100% of what we’re seeking. Go ahead—explore our offer and tell us what you can bring to the table! : * ✅ Minimum 5 years of project management experience, especially in AI. * ✅ Degree in Engineering or any Business Administration-related field. * Knowledge of how such projects operate: eligible costs, deliverables, commitments to the Commission, etc. * Experience in coordination, particularly in R\&D. * Coordination of multidisciplinary teams across different locations. * Coordination of partners and subcontractors, procurement. * Strong interpersonal skills due to interaction with partners and clients, as well as the need to support the team.
