Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced horticultural crop pollinator to ensure the quality and quantity of production through appropriate pollination techniques and general crop care. Key Responsibilities: 1. Ensure the quality and quantity of production in horticultural crops. 2. Apply appropriate pollination techniques and care for the crops. 3. Promote a healthy and productive growing environment. We are looking for a dedicated individual to carry out horticultural crop pollination in Vícar. The primary objective is to ensure the quality and quantity of production, especially in key crops such as melon, pepper, and cucumber. The selected candidate will apply the most suitable pollination techniques for each crop type, thereby facilitating proper fertilization and fruit development. Responsibilities also include general crop care. This encompasses tasks such as plant tying, pruning to enhance growth, and timely fruit harvesting. The ability to observe and respond to the needs of each plant—thus promoting a healthy and productive growing environment—will be highly valued. Attention to detail and commitment to good agricultural practices are essential to achieve optimal results. Previous experience in similar roles within the agricultural or horticultural sector is required. A proactive attitude, strong sense of responsibility, and the ability to work autonomously are fundamental. Versatility will be important to adapt to various tasks. A full-time discontinuous permanent contract is offered, with a competitive salary according to the collective agreement. Prior experience in pollination and maintenance of horticultural crops.
