At NOVANOTIO, we are recruiting a Senior Software Engineer to collaborate on developing a toll management application (both gated and free-flow), within the Mobility area. The project combines technological innovation, distributed architectures, and deployment in cloud environments, with direct impact on intelligent mobility. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Minimum 7 years of software development experience. At least 3 years leading technical or development teams. Proven experience in distributed architectures, microservices, and cloud environments (Azure or AWS). WHAT DO YOU NEED TO KNOW? Required degree: Computer Engineering or Systems Engineering. Desirable: Master’s or postgraduate degree in Software Engineering, Project Management, or Technological Leadership. Main programming languages: C/C\+\+ (advanced level) and Java (intermediate level). Microservices architecture. PostgreSQL and relational databases. REST APIs and JSON data interchange formats. Knowledge of software engineering principles and standard tools used in development environments. DESIRED KNOWLEDGE: Experience in traffic or toll-related projects. Familiarity with ROS (Robot Operating System) or other distributed systems. Knowledge of DevSecOps best practices and deployment automation. RESPONSIBILITIES AND FUNCTIONS: Technically lead a software development team in a hybrid environment. Participate in the design and definition of distributed architectures. Supervise the implementation of microservices and their cloud deployment (Azure/AWS). Coordinate the integration of C/C\+\+ and Java components. Ensure code quality, compliance with standards, and adherence to software engineering best practices. Collaborate with other technical teams, ensuring requirement traceability and system interoperability. Participate in defining and managing RESTful APIs and JSON data flows.
