At Bertrandt, we are looking to hire **Systems Engineers** to join our team and participate in challenging projects within the **aerospace / defense** sector. You will be part of various key areas within systems engineering, covering the entire development lifecycle: * **Core systems engineering** You will participate in architecture definition, requirements, safety, and interface management, ensuring the system is **structured, traceable, and certifiable** from early stages. * **Integration and Validation (V\&V)** You will work in the phase closest to the actual system: testing, integration, result analysis, and incident resolution in laboratory or simulation environments. * **MBSE / digital engineering** You will collaborate in modeling, simulation, and system digitalization environments, contributing to anticipating issues and optimizing development cycles. You will participate in activities related to specification definition, integration, and verification and validation (V\&V), supporting the development and certification of advanced systems. This is a **100% on-site opportunity in Getafe** **General Responsibilities:** * Define and manage system-level requirements and interfaces. * Participate in architecture, modeling, or MBSE activities (as per profile). * Support planning and execution of tests (V\&V). * Collaborate on system integration and incident analysis. * Prepare and review technical documentation. * Ensure compliance with certification standards and processes. * Support suppliers and internal teams. * Participate in design reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR). **Requirements** * Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Systems Engineering (or equivalent). * 4 **years** of experience in system development, integration, or testing within the aerospace / defense environment. * General knowledge of aeronautical systems and/or communications. * Experience with tools such as **DOORS, Cameo, or similar**. * Knowledge of **Jira, Confluence, and DO\-178C / DO\-331 standards** is desirable. * Experience in **MBSE, simulation, or test automation** will be valued. * Proactive attitude, analytical capability, and strong communication skills. * English language proficiency at **B2 level or higher**. **We are Bertrandt.** An independent, international development services provider with extensive experience in the automotive sector.
