Position Summary: Design and implement construction and service projects, equipment, machinery and installations for improvements and new acquisitions. Key Highlights: 1. Identifies and analyses energy-saving measures. **Position Mission:** Design and implement construction and service projects, equipment, machinery and installations—whether for new acquisition, expansion or improvement. **Responsibilities and Duties:** * Collaborates with the User in defining and drafting the “User Requirements” and leads the remaining project phases: design, procurement management (issuing purchase orders and certification), budgetary control, construction supervision, acceptance, testing and commissioning. * Manages project documentation and planning. * Collaborates with QA to develop the validation strategy and define the Validation Master Plan (VMP) (where applicable), in parallel with project planning, to ensure that equipment, facility and process qualification meets established completion deadlines. * Identifies opportunities for energy-saving measures and evaluates their economic feasibility. * Ensures compliance with specific regulatory requirements applicable to the scope of work (GMPs, GLPs, GEPs, etc.). * Responsible for permits and legalisation with authorities related to the project. * Codes and registers project-related assets. Coordinates with Maintenance to identify (label) new equipment requiring maintenance and include it in the Preventive Maintenance Plan (PMP). * Authorises special work permits. * Proposes and evaluates required investments across all areas (production, open areas, utilities, safety, MA) for the annual investment budget. * Ensures personnel under their responsibility receive necessary training, information and resources to guarantee their safety and health, and oversees general compliance with safety and environmental regulations within their area of responsibility. **Academic Qualifications:** University degree, preferably in a technical/scientific field: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Automation or related disciplines. **Specific Knowledge:** * Experience in installation, civil works and machinery procurement projects within the pharmaceutical, chemical, food or cosmetics sectors. * Knowledge of industrial safety regulations. * Understanding of pharmaceutical sector sanitary regulations. * Knowledge of engineering, management, governance and advanced data analytics. * Advanced English proficiency. * Familiarity with Lean continuous improvement tools. **Experience:** Minimum two years’ prior experience in this role is preferred, ideally within the pharmaceutical, chemical, food or cosmetics sectors. **Additional Information:** * Worksite: SAB * Working hours: Central Flex * Employment type: Permanent * Professional group: 6 Designs and implements construction and service projects, equipment, machinery and installations—whether for new acquisition, expansion or improvement. *Why work with Almirall?* We are a **people-centric company**, where employees perform at their best, patients and customers are at the heart of every decision, and our focus and agility allow us to deliver greater impact for all.
