**Description:** ---------------- At Globalia Handling, a company committed to equal opportunities, we are seeking to hire a Maintenance Engineer at our central offices in Mallorca, to become part of our human capital composed of over 6,000 employees. With over 20 years of experience as a Handling services provider, Globalia is a leading player in the airport sector, operating in 12 national airports where we provide ground handling services to the world's major airlines, as well as managing 8 air cargo terminals. Reporting to the Logistics and Safety Department Management and based at our central offices in Llucmajor, Mallorca, the selected candidate will be responsible for fleet maintenance management, carrying out the following duties: * Be responsible for maintenance procedures and equipment management: analyze, develop, and implement modifications, ensure their proper updating, and guarantee compliance. * Review and analyze current work processes to validate them, identify improvement areas, and propose and drive corrective actions aligned with strategic objectives. * Design and prepare periodic control reports showing significant data (KPIs) to support decision-making for resource optimization. * Prepare the maintenance budget, monitor its execution, and report significant deviations to management. * Identify, propose, approve, and implement new equipment improvements to enhance safety levels, meeting and even exceeding industry safety standards. * Prepare for, participate in, and assist with inspections and audits, ensuring compliance with maintenance procedures and safety standards for both operations and fleet. * Ensure and maintain fleet records and all maintenance-related documentation, including keeping all equipment manuals updated and centralized. * Follow up on both internal and external audits and resolve observations and non-conformities. * Maintain direct contact with all workshops at national terminals: monitor maintenance activities, assign priorities according to operational needs, track unavailable equipment, collect fleet performance parameters, etc. **What Globalia Handling offers you:** * Permanent contract from day one. * Flexible working hours from Monday to Friday. * Hybrid work model through our "Flexiwork" program, after completing your initial adaptation period. * Excellent learning opportunities for your professional development alongside the corporate Logistics and Safety team. * The chance to join one of the top Handling companies, working within a highly competent team where you'll have the opportunity to take on many professional challenges. **Requirements:** --------------- * Degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering. * Possession of an official qualification enabling you to sign technical reports and projects, or being registered as a professional engineer. * At least five years of experience in roles similar to those described in this job offer. * Good command of English. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. * Willingness to travel. **Valued skills:** * Experience in the Handling services sector. * Proactive, responsible profile with strong ability to manage, analyze, and creatively propose continuous improvement alternatives. * Prior experience with software or digital tools for machinery or vehicle fleet maintenance.
