A core part of your role is leveraging available AI tools so your team delivers more, better, and faster—not as an option, but as a responsibility. **People and Team Leadership** * Continuous team follow-up: 1:1s, performance evaluation, talent retention and development. * Foster a culture of collaboration, feedback, and continuous improvement aligned with Mango’s values. * Identify dependencies, prevent blockers, and resolve conflicts within and across squads. * Lead by example: genuine ownership and ability to make things happen. **Value Delivery and Execution** A core part of your role is ensuring your team delivers more, better, and faster. To achieve this, leveraging available AI tools is not optional—it’s a responsibility. We seek not theoretical knowledge, but real impact on productivity, quality, and speed. * Balance short-term productivity with long-term maintainability and robustness. * Work hand-in-hand with Product and Digital Design to understand customer needs and improve their experience through data-driven decisions. * Coordinate with other Engineering Managers and the Principal Engineer to align technological strategy and manage cross-team dependencies. * Support the department by leading cross-functional initiatives with tangible business impact. * Adopt and promote daily use of AI tools across the team: assisted code review, test generation, automated documentation, incident analysis, etc. * Execute yourself: not only delegate AI usage, but directly apply it to solve problems, generate prototypes, analyze data, or prepare proposals. * Identify automation opportunities in team and business processes, and lead their agile implementation. * Share learnings with other Engineering Managers to accelerate organization-wide adoption. * We seek an Engineering Manager who does not wait for solutions to arrive, but generates them—and instills that mindset across their team. **ABOUT YOU:** **People and Team Management** * Experience managing teams: follow-up, 1:1s, performance evaluation, talent retention. * Experience delivering feedback, including difficult conversations. * Strong leadership, planning, and communication skills. * Passionate about people and improving the work environment in which they operate. **Execution and Delivery** * Experience leading value delivery across the software development lifecycle. * Experience managing and delivering high-impact projects. * Ability to identify blockers and resolve them autonomously. * Flexibility to adapt to constant change (the fashion world is highly dynamic). * Global vision, with capacity to dive into details when required. * Advanced English. **AI-First Mindset** We seek someone who does not wait for AI to “arrive” at their team—but brings it in. * Practical experience using generative AI tools in software development contexts (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude, etc.). * Ability to execute directly with AI: not only supervise, but generate, prototype, and solve problems hands-on. * Ownership mindset: if something can be automated or accelerated with AI, you identify it, propose it, and drive it forward. * Experience (or strong willingness) leading AI adoption initiatives within engineering teams. * Results-oriented: define metrics, measure impact, and communicate progress clearly. * Genuine curiosity about the AI/ML ecosystem and its application in digital products and technology platforms.
