Electrical Engineer

At **Connect44**, we are seeking an **Electrical Engineer** to join our Engineering team, specializing in the **calculation, design, and sizing of electrical installations associated with mobile telephony base stations**. The selected candidate will participate in projects involving the deployment, modernization, and adaptation of telecommunications infrastructure, developing the necessary electrical solutions to ensure safe, efficient, and regulation-compliant power supply. Key Responsibilities * Design and calculation of **low-voltage electrical installations** associated with mobile telephony base stations. * Calculation and sizing of electrical lines, conductor cross-sections, and conduits. * Calculation of **voltage drops, current intensities, installed power, and forecasted demand**. * Selection and sizing of electrical protections: thermal-magnetic circuit breakers, residual-current devices, fuses, and surge protection devices. * Design and calculation of **electrical switchboards and distribution boards**. * Preparation and review of **single-line diagrams**. * Design and sizing of **earthing and equipotential bonding systems**. * Design of surge protection systems and coordination of protective devices. * Calculation and verification of installations in accordance with the **Low Voltage Electrical Regulations (REBT)** and applicable technical standards. * Definition of power supply solutions for telecommunications equipment, rectifiers, DC systems, batteries, and auxiliary equipment. * Analysis of electrical requirements for expansions or integration of new equipment into existing base stations. * Preparation of drawings, technical reports, supporting calculations, and engineering documentation. * Review of existing documentation and development of proposals for installation adaptations. * Technical support to Site Design, construction, and installation teams. Required Profile * University degree in **Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering**, or equivalent specialization. * Solid knowledge of low-voltage electrical installations. * Familiarity with the **Low Voltage Electrical Regulations (REBT)** and related regulations. * Ability to perform electrical calculations and technically justify proposed solutions. * Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar tools for drawing preparation and review. * Ability to interpret electrical schematics, drawings, and technical documentation. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools. Particularly Valued * Prior experience in **telecommunications and mobile telephony base station projects**. * Knowledge of **AC/DC power supply systems, rectifiers, batteries, and backup systems** used in telecommunications. * Experience in calculating earthing installations and surge protection. * Experience in designing and modifying electrical switchboards. * Proficiency in specialized electrical calculation software. * Sufficient English proficiency to work with technical documentation and international teams.
