We are currently seeking a Due Diligence Analyst for our Madrid office. **Mission** Ensure the analysis of compliance risks associated with counterparties engaging with the Organization, and propose necessary recommendations and measures to mitigate such risks — all aimed at preventing counterparty risk. **Responsibilities** * Help disseminate ENGIE’s internal Ethics & Compliance principles and regulations across all members of the Organization. * Analyze counterparties from a compliance risk perspective, using information searches in public databases or data provided by the counterparty, or other sources. * Propose appropriate action plans (measures and controls) tailored to each risk level. * Draft the corresponding report. * Monitor high-risk counterparties, press coverage, sanctions, etc. * Ensure follow-up on the action plan proposed for each due diligence. * Guarantee adherence to the Due Diligence procedure and propose improvements by identifying areas for process enhancement. * Maintain up-to-date records and sound document management. * Process and analyze annual activity KPIs. * Support the design and monitoring of other components of the compliance model. * Ensure implementation and compliance with Security & Health, Diversity, Cybersecurity, Environment, Sustainability, Ethics & Compliance policies, as well as defined procedures and processes within the Organization. **Education** * University degree (mandatory). * Postgraduate studies in Compliance, Regulatory Compliance, or Corporate Compliance (desirable). * Engineering background (Industrial, Mining, or similar) is a plus. **Experience** Minimum 4 years’ experience as a Due Diligence Analyst; experience in multinational environments. **Languages:** English: advanced level **Skills and Competencies** * Solid understanding of regulatory compliance frameworks and regulatory environments. * Analytical mindset with ability to assess and manage risks. * High ethical standards and professional integrity. * Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management capabilities. * Ability to work with a high degree of autonomy and responsibility. **Committed to Inclusion** At ENGIE, we value and promote diversity and inclusion.
