Description

We are an industrial group with a presence in Spain and the United States, specializing in plastic injection for various industrial sectors. We are currently in a growth phase and wish to strengthen our finance department by incorporating a professional to lead the evolution of our industrial cost model. We currently operate a product-based cost model grounded in our internal bill-of-materials (BOMs). We seek a candidate capable of consolidating, refining, and elevating this model to a higher level of accuracy, automation, and analytical capability. **Job Mission** Lead the development of the product-cost model for our Bocairente plant, incorporating production data, labor, scrap, fixed and variable costs, and machine and facility opportunity costs with greater precision. The selected candidate will report directly to the Group’s Financial Director. **Key Responsibilities** * Lead the evolution of the product/reference cost model, building upon existing work. * Improve the accuracy of BOMs and standard/actual costs. * Refine hourly-machine rates and allocation criteria for indirect and structural costs. * Integrate detailed information into the model regarding scrap, cycle times, mold changes, labor costs, and machine/facility availability. * Analyze product- and customer-level profitability, identifying variances between theoretical and actual costs. * Collaborate closely with Production to enhance the quality, consistency, and traceability of data feeding the cost model. * Propose improvements to cost analysis and control processes. **Supporting Responsibilities** In addition to the primary focus on industrial costs, the role will support the finance department in: * Receivables and payables control. * Support in accounting and monthly closings. * Administrative tasks specific to the finance area. **What We Are Looking For** * Education in Industrial Engineering (Industrial Organization, Mechanical Engineering or similar), Business Administration and Management (ADE), Economics, or Higher Vocational Training in Administration and Finance, with equivalent experience in an industrial environment. * Minimum 5 years’ experience in manufacturing companies. * Experience in plastic injection, automotive, packaging, or other high-volume industrial processes will be especially valued. * Knowledge of: * Bill-of-materials (BOMs) and industrial costs. * Standard and actual costs. * Hourly-machine rates. * Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE). * Indirect cost allocation. * Profitability analysis by product or reference. * Advanced Excel skills oriented toward modeling and data analysis. * ERP systems used in manufacturing (e.g., SAP, Sage X3, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.) and tools such as Power BI or Power Query will be considered advantageous. * Strong analytical capability, commitment to continuous improvement, and ability to work cross-functionally with Production and Finance. * General accounting and administrative knowledge to support the finance department. **What We Offer** * Stable employment with an expanding international industrial group. * A high-impact project with autonomy to develop the group’s cost model. * Direct reporting to the Financial Director. * Competitive salary aligned with the candidate’s experience and contribution. * Professional development within a growth-oriented organization. * On-site position in Bocairente. **Are You Interested?** If you seek a project where you can add value and lead the evolution of an industrial company’s cost system, we would love to meet you.
