




Position Summary: We are seeking a Chemical Process Engineer in Burgos to support plant utility development and improvement, as well as Industrial Engineering projects. Key Responsibilities: 1. Collaborate in achieving plant development and improvement objectives. 2. Study and develop projects to enhance process performance. 3. Lead YR meetings and actively participate in HAZOP meetings. For new Industrial Engineering projects across various sectors, we require a **CHEMICAL PROCESS ENGINEER** based in Burgos. **Responsibilities** * Collaborate in achieving objectives related to plant utility development and improvement. * Conceptualize, study, and develop projects and proposals to improve the performance of energy- and utility-related processes. * Characterize plant utility networks and design equipment required for their enhancement. * Prepare and ensure accuracy of plant material and energy balances. * Analyze process and utility data to identify improvement opportunities within a capacity-increase context. * Collaborate with Engineering teams on investment-related activities, modifications to existing facilities, and new industrial projects (including PID design support, technical documentation, material and energy balances, and functional process descriptions). * Develop and monitor test sheets to improve processes, reduce energy consumption, and optimize these resources. * Define process and equipment design conditions for new investments or projects. * Lead YR meetings and actively participate alongside Process Safety Engineers in HAZOP meetings. * Collaborate cross-functionally with Manufacturing and corporate support departments. * Ensure all work is performed in compliance with HSE directives. **Requirements** * Chemical Engineering or Technical Industrial Engineering: Electronics, Process Automation, or Industrial Informatics. * Minimum 3 years’ experience in process management. * Knowledge of drawing interpretation and preparation. * Familiarity with chemical process schematics (interpretation/representation of components), P\&ID diagrams, and Process Flow Diagrams (PFD). * General knowledge of mechanics, piping, electricity, instrumentation, and equipment. * Basic knowledge of electricity and instrumentation. * Ability to identify typical equipment used in chemical industrial processes. * Knowledge of Engineering Operating Instructions. * Laboratory techniques and equipment calibration plans will be considered an advantage. **Tools** * Proficiency in AutoCAD, Office, and SAP. **Competencies** * Teamwork, problem-solving, planning, and continuous improvement, communication. * Rigor and methodology in daily work. * Ability to work autonomously. * Ability to work under pressure. **Languages** * English level B2, sufficient to attend meetings and prepare documentation. * French level B1 or higher is desirable. **Work Location** * Burgos.
