We expect all new hires to exemplify these behaviors. ### **Purpose of the Role** Ensure continued airworthiness of the Iberia fleet through management of structural modifications, Airworthiness Directives (ADs), retrofit programs, and reliability-based improvement initiatives, guaranteeing regulatory compliance, operational reliability, and cost efficiency. ### **Key Responsibilities** * **Monitor and manage** applicable Airworthiness Directives (ADs) related to aircraft structures. * **Evaluate and implement** structural modification campaigns in coordination with Part 145 organizations. * **Analyze reliability data** and develop initiatives to improve structural performance and reduce maintenance costs. * **Manage preventive structural programs** across the entire fleet, including the Corrosion Prevention and Control Program (CPCP). * **Lead technical and economic evaluations** of modifications and airworthiness requirements. * **Develop procedures**, engineering standards, and technical documentation. * **Participate in technical forums** hosted by Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and industry bodies. * **Support CAMO customers** and contribute to cross-functional projects within Iberia and IAG. * **Drive continuous improvement initiatives** focused on efficiency and cost optimization. ### **Requirements** * **University degree** in Aeronautical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. * **Experience** in aircraft maintenance engineering and/or continued airworthiness management. * **Solid knowledge** of EASA Part M regulations and CAMO activities. * **Experience** in aircraft structural engineering. * **Advanced English proficiency**. * **Proficiency** in Microsoft 365 tools. ### **Desirable** * Familiarity with **AMOS**. * Knowledge of **Part 21, CS-25, and AIR OPS** regulations. ### **Competencies** * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Attention to detail and high sense of responsibility. * Proactive, autonomous, and results-oriented mindset. * Excellent teamwork and stakeholder management (*stakeholders*) skills. * Ability to operate effectively in a dynamic and demanding (*fast-paced*) aviation environment. * Customer- and continuous improvement-focused attitude.
