Position Summary
Are you passionate about digital engineering and the transformation of strategic infrastructure?
We are seeking a BIM Manager with a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Civil Engineering (Roads, Canals, and Ports), plus a BIM Master’s degree or extensive, demonstrable experience in BIM project management, to participate in complex, multidisciplinary infrastructure projects.
You will be responsible for managing BIM-based projects within the infrastructure department—overseeing teams, ensuring model consistency and deliverable quality, and promoting digital innovation throughout design and construction processes.
Responsibilities and Qualifications
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage BIM-based projects in the infrastructure department, coordinating and supervising multidisciplinary teams to ensure information consistency and deliverable quality.
* Represent the department in technical meetings; define and maintain corporate BIM standards; manage BIM documentation and models; drive digital innovation and transformation in design and construction processes.
* Collaborate with design, planning, and project management teams; identify opportunities to improve BIM processes and tools to promote efficiency and automation; foster team technical training and development; ensure information interoperability and proper communication among all project platforms and stakeholders.
* Manage BIM-based projects for railways, roads, and ports.
* Draft and update BIM Execution Plans (BEPs), technical reports, and tender documentation.
* Configure collaborative environments in Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC).
* Coordinate and federate multidisciplinary models; perform 3D analysis, clash detection, cost estimation, and construction simulations.
* Review and validate model quality per ISO 19650 and IFC schema.
* Monitor interoperability among tools: Revit, Civil 3D, Istram, etc.
* Lead technical coordination meetings based on federated models.
* Optimize modeling processes and information flow.
* Train internal teams.
Requirements:
* Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Civil Engineering (Roads, Canals, and Ports). MECES Level 3 mandatory. BIM Master’s degree or extensive, proven experience in BIM infrastructure project management.
* Minimum experience: 3 years on railway, road, or port infrastructure projects.
* Languages: English (advanced level).
* Technical knowledge:
+ Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D / Istram, Revit, and Navisworks Manage.
+ Knowledge of PRESTO IFC BIM 5D and BIM 4D.
+ Solid experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC).
+ BIM standards, ISO 19650, IFC schema.
+ Knowledge of Python, Power BI, or GIS applied to BIM.
+ Experience in planning.
* Experience managing multidisciplinary teams.
* Leadership, communication skills, and ability to work under pressure.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Professional certifications in BIM / ISO 19650 / buildingSMART.
* Experience on international projects.
