Joining a highly specialized technical team A packaging machinery manufacturer located in Baix Llobregat is seeking an Automation Engineer. RESPONSIBILITIES * Electrical panel design using EPLAN and installation. * Wiring of sensors, actuators, cameras and other control devices. * PLC and touchscreen programming and configuration. * Integration of machine vision systems and smart sensors. * Firmware and software updates and loading on equipment. * Machinery commissioning, verifying electrical, pneumatic and mechanical systems at functional level. * Parameter tuning and production testing. * Technical issue diagnosis and resolution. * Support in new machine design alongside the engineering team. * Management of technical documentation for installed systems. * Coordination with electronic and automation component suppliers. * Minimum three years’ experience as an Automation Engineer and commissioning specialist in the industrial sector. * Higher vocational training in regulation and control systems and/or Electronic and Automatic Engineering or equivalent. * Knowledge of servo motors and axis synchronization. * Knowledge of sensor, camera and vision system integration. * Knowledge of electrical panels and automation schematics. - Solid programming skills with TIA Portal and CX-Programmer. * Knowledge of HMI interfaces and industrial communication protocols (Modbus and Profinet). * English proficiency at B2 level. * Willingness to travel nationally and internationally up to 20% of the time. * Joining a highly specialized technical team. * Participation in innovative machinery projects. * Continuous training in new automation and AI technologies * Permanent contract with an attractive remuneration package.
