Position Summary:
At Sener, we are seeking an HVAC Mechanical Engineer to design mechanical installations for international infrastructure and landmark building projects.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead the design and calculation of mechanical installations

At Sener, we wish to incorporate an HVAC Mechanical Engineer into our team at our Bilbao or Barcelona office to participate in the design of mechanical installations for international infrastructure projects.
Our activities focus on developing electromechanical installation design projects for the infrastructure sector (tunnels, ports, airports, metro and railway stations, maintenance yards and depots, etc.) as well as for the landmark building sector, such as sports facilities and hospitals.
**Your responsibilities:**
* Lead the design and calculation of mechanical installations.
* Ensure compliance with tender requirements.
* Provide technical and economic management of scopes to support the Project Director.
* Prepare cost estimates when participating in bids.
**What we expect from you:**
* Degree in Industrial Engineering or Technical Industrial Engineering.
* Minimum of 5 years’ experience in mechanical installation design.
* Knowledge of national regulations (CTE, RSCIEI, RITE, etc.) as well as international standards (NFPA, ASHRAE, CIBSE, IPC, NPC, etc.).
* Prior experience developing projects using BIM methodology.
* Willingness to travel.
* English language proficiency at B2 level or higher.
Additional assets include:
* Experience in railway, port, airport infrastructure projects, as well as landmark buildings.
* Sustainability certification (LEED, BREEAM, etc.).
* Additional training in energy efficiency.
