Job Summary: We are seeking a Logistics Administrator to manage material shipments to Zanzibar, ensuring documentary, customs, and operational compliance. Key Highlights: 1. It is one of the leading hotel chains in our country, currently operating 80 establishments across more than 20 different destinations, employing nearly 10\.000 people, and undergoing rapid expansion. We are looking for an Administrative profile to join our Construction Department and support logistics related to our new hotel in ZANZIBAR. The Logistics Administrator will be responsible for end-to-end management of material shipments to Zanzibar, ensuring documentary, customs, and operational compliance for maritime or air operations. They will coordinate with freight forwarders, customs agents, international carriers, and internal teams to guarantee safe, efficient, and on-time deliveries. Main Responsibilities * Coordinate maritime and air shipments to Zanzibar, identifying the optimal option in terms of cost, transit time, and reliability. * Manage bookings with shipping lines or freight forwarders. * Track international transportation (tracking) until arrival in Tanzania/Zanzibar. * Prepare and control international documentation: * Verify that documentation complies with customs requirements, Spanish export regulations, and Tanzanian/Zanzibari import regulations. * Coordinate with customs agents for export clearance and supervise documentation required for import at destination. * Manage documentation for special goods (ADR, technical materials, specific equipment). * Proactively monitor incidents during transit, port stopovers, port closures, or itinerary changes. * Verify transport invoices and validate logistics costs. Required Technical Competencies * Education: Intermediate or advanced vocational training in Logistics, International Trade, Administration, or related field. * Experience: 2–4 years in international logistics, export, or foreign trade. * Knowledge of foreign trade and international documentation. * ERP system proficiency (SAP, Navision, SAGE, Dynamics). * Advanced Excel (data lists, cross-referencing, basic analysis). * Familiarity with Incoterms and maritime/air transport. * Knowledge of specific export requirements for East African countries (preferred). * High-level English We Offer * Temporary contract until project completion * Opportunity to join a sector-leading international company (possibility of re-hiring after contract ends) * Competitive salary * Full-time position * Offices located in the heart of Barcelona
