Description

Residencia Llar Girona is seeking to hire a gerocultor/a to join our team at a family-style residence for 22 semi-autonomous elderly residents. Main responsibilities \- Providing care and companionship to residents in their daily life activities. \- Assisting with personal hygiene and monitoring overall well-being. \- Cleaning common areas and resident rooms. \- Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality care. \- Promoting residents' autonomy and emotional well-being. \- Maintaining a safe, pleasant, and respectful environment. \- Supporting residents in their daily life activities. \- Promoting the autonomy and well-being of elderly persons. * Experience: 6 months. Prior experience of at least 6 months in geriatric residences, day centers, or home care services for the elderly will be valued. \- Experience accompanying and assisting elderly persons in basic daily life activities. \- Knowledge of patient mobilization, personal hygiene, meal administration, and general health observation of residents. \- Ability to work autonomously and in coordination with the rest of the team. \- Experience in small-scale facilities, where close and personalized interaction with residents is a fundamental part of the job, will be especially valued. * MEDIUM-GRADE VOCATIONAL TRAINING QUALIFICATION (FP DE GRAU MIG) * Competencies / knowledge: Knowledge of patient mobilization, personal hygiene, meal administration, and general health observation of residents. \- Ability to work autonomously and in coordination with the rest of the team. \- Experience in small-scale facilities, where close and personalized interaction with residents is a fundamental part of the job, will be especially valued. * Indefinite-term employment contract * Part-time schedule (21 hours \- monthly working hours) * Additional relevant information: Salary according to the State Agreement on Dependency.
