**Job Mission** Lead Tresmarinos’ workshop department, ensuring the proper execution of all maintenance, repair, and commissioning services for both the company’s own fleet and customer vessels, guaranteeing the highest technical quality, adherence to deadlines, and an outstanding customer experience. You will serve as the workshop’s technical lead, coordinating team activities and overseeing operational efficiency. Additionally, you will identify opportunities to develop recurring maintenance services, inspections, winterization, and other service lines contributing to the workshop’s profitability. You will receive official Mercury training for the maintenance and repair of Mercury engines, as Tresmarinos is an authorized Mercury dealer and certified service center. **Key Responsibilities Technical Workshop Management** · Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic failures. · Perform and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance. · Serve as the technical reference for Mercury engines. · Guarantee the quality of all interventions. · Prioritize tasks based on urgency and scheduling. **Team Management** · Coordinate the daily work of two technicians. · Distribute workloads and supervise quality. · Train and technically develop the team. · Ensure safety and compliance with procedures. **Organization and Operations** · Plan the workshop’s workload. · Manage fleet maintenance. · Coordinate customer vessel repairs. · Optimize processes and response times. **Materials and Suppliers** · Monitor spare parts and consumables inventory. · Manage purchase orders and supplier relationships. · Optimize costs without compromising quality. **Customer Service** · Explain diagnoses and quotations. · Communicate repair status updates. · Resolve complex technical issues. **Documentation Management** · Record interventions and maintenance histories. · Manage warranties and technical documentation. **Reporting Structure** Reports to: General Management of Tresmarinos Direct reports: 2 workshop technicians. **Profile** * Vocational qualification in Electromechanics, Naval Mechanics, or related field. • Experience with Mercury engines is highly valued. • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience. • Experience leading technical teams. **Competencies** · Leadership · Organization · Diagnostic ability · Quality orientation · Problem-solving · Proactivity · Customer orientation · Teamwork **KPIs** · On-time delivery rate · Average repair time · Fleet availability · Recurrence rate of failures · Customer satisfaction · Workshop productivity · Material cost control · After-sales revenue and profitability **Job Objectives** · Ensure maximum fleet availability. · Establish the workshop as a benchmark for quality. · Maintain Mercury standards. · Build an autonomous and efficient team.
