Opportunities for professional growth We are looking for a **QA Automation Engineer** to join a project team working with **Java Spring Boot and business processes based on Camunda 8**. The selected candidate will be responsible for defining and implementing the automated testing strategy, designing test cases for new and existing functionalities, and ensuring the quality of backend services, process flows, integrations, and regression scenarios. This is a highly technical, hands-on role requiring solid experience in test automation, understanding of backend systems, and the ability to collaborate effectively with developers, business analysts, product owners, and other QA engineers. Key Responsibilities: * Define the project's automated testing strategy. * Design and maintain test cases for new and existing functionalities. * Create automated tests for services built with **Java Spring Boot**, REST APIs, integrations, and workflows in **Camunda**. * Test BPMN processes, DMN rules, process variables, service tasks, error handling, retries, timers, and external integrations. * Build and maintain automated regression test suites. * Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline. * Collaborate with developers to improve testability, code quality, and defect prevention. * Review requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, BPMN diagrams, and technical designs to identify test scenarios. * Manage test data, mocks, stubs, and testing environments. * Report, track, and assist in resolving defects. * Promote sound testing practices within the development team. Requirements: * Experience as a QA Automation Engineer or similar role. * Solid knowledge of test automation. * Experience with REST API testing. * Familiarity with backend environments (ideally Java / Spring Boot). * Experience with CI/CD and continuous integration tools. * Ability to analyze and design complex test cases. * Knowledge of BPMN / DMN processes (highly valued). Nice-to-Have: * Experience with **Camunda 8**. * Familiarity with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, RestAssured, JUnit, etc.). * Experience with microservice architectures. * Proactive, quality-oriented mindset.
