The Production Technician is responsible for safely executing all tasks related to the production process in accordance with defined standards, while consistently maintaining a clean and orderly work environment to achieve organizational goals. As a key team member, this role performs technical tasks with precision, follows established work standards, and contributes to the commissioning and scaling of manufacturing processes. This position is critical to meeting production deadlines and ensuring the high quality of our reactor systems.
The initial schedule for this position will be Monday through Friday, with regular 8-hour shifts (40 hours per week). Upon plant startup, the role will transition to shift work. The shift rotation schedule will be 2 days of morning shift, 2 days of afternoon shift, 2 days of night shift, and 4 days off.
Travel availability to the U.S. for training is required.
### **Responsibilities**
* **Equipment Operation and Maintenance:** Operate machinery, perform basic troubleshooting, and maintain equipment according to safety guidelines and procedures.
* **Quality Control:** Conduct quality checks and document production data.
* **Material Handling and Workplace Organization:** Safely move materials, maintain a clean workspace, and adhere to safety protocols.
* **Documentation and Data Entry:** Accurately record production data, use computer systems for tracking, and maintain records per company standards.
* **Teamwork and Continuous Improvement:** Collaborate with team members, follow instructions, and participate in initiatives to improve efficiency and quality.
### **Requirements**
* Prior experience in a high-demand manufacturing environment. Completion of a Medium-Level Vocational Training Cycle in Chemistry and/or Manufacturing is desirable.
* Demonstrated ability to operate equipment, troubleshoot issues, and interpret technical documents.
* Strong attention to detail, commitment to quality standards, and capability to perform inspections. Additionally, adherence to safety protocols and maintenance of a clean and safe work environment.
* Computer literacy, including data entry and software navigation, along with effective communication and teamwork skills.
* Fluent Spanish is mandatory; English proficiency is a plus.
