Description
This position focuses on maintaining hygiene and cleanliness standards in production facilities, with particular emphasis on strict compliance with food safety regulations. The primary responsibility involves routine and deep cleaning of work areas, including machinery, floors, walls, and passageways, using authorized products and procedures to ensure a safe and hygienic environment. In addition, the operator will be responsible for managing waste generated during daily operations, ensuring proper segregation and disposal in accordance with established protocols. Attention to detail is critical to prevent contamination risks and maintain the high quality standards required in the sector. Candidates are expected to be meticulous, organized, and capable of following instructions precisely in a dynamic environment. This role directly contributes to the smooth operation of the production line and the safety of final products. The job requires a proactive attitude to identify areas for improvement in cleaning processes and propose practical solutions. Interaction with other departments is necessary to coordinate cleaning tasks without interfering with production. Teamwork skills and adaptability to varying schedules and operational needs will be positively considered. The offered contract is full-time, Monday to Friday, with immediate start. Working hours are rotating, including a morning shift from 07:30 to 15:30 and an afternoon shift from 15:30 to 23:30\. Standard terms and conditions as stipulated in the applicable collective bargaining agreement for the sector will be provided. The workplace is located in Ribeira, in the province of A Coruña.
Applicants must hold a Compulsory Secondary Education diploma or equivalent, along with a valid food handler certificate. Prior experience of at least one year in cleaning tasks within the industrial or food sector is desirable but not mandatory. Demonstrating a positive attitude, commitment, and willingness to learn and follow established procedures is essential. Candidates must be available to work rotating shifts.
