**Leonardo Royal Hotel Barcelona Forum** is seeking an **Events Manager** to lead the coordination and execution of our hotel’s events and group activities.
With **368 rooms, over 20 meeting rooms, and a prime location next to the CCIB**, the Leonardo Royal Hotel Barcelona Forum is one of the city’s leading conference and events hotels. This position offers the opportunity to manage large-scale national and international corporate events as part of an ambitious project within a rapidly expanding international hotel company.

**What will be your mission?**
Lead the Events Department, ensuring a seamless transition from sale to event execution and guaranteeing an excellent experience for our clients as well as efficient coordination among all involved departments.
**Key responsibilities**
* Lead, develop, and motivate the Events team, defining priorities and ensuring achievement of departmental objectives.
* Manage events and groups from confirmation through to closure, acting as the client’s primary point of contact.
* Ensure excellent handover between the Sales and Operations departments, confirming that all information, documentation, and financial terms are accurately defined.
* Coordinate and lead operational meetings with the various involved departments (Reception, F\&B, Kitchen, Housekeeping, Maintenance, Technical Staff, etc.).
* Supervise preparation of service orders, group summaries, and all documentation required for correct execution of each event.
* Organize site inspections, pre-conference meetings (Pre\-Con), and accompany the client throughout the event.
* Supervise room setup, space arrangements, and technical requirements, ensuring every detail meets the hotel’s standards.
* Resolve incidents promptly, anticipate client needs, and ensure high levels of satisfaction.
* Supervise the administrative management of events: deposits, invoicing, closures, and internal audits.
* Analyze results, prepare forecasts, and identify improvement opportunities to increase profitability and client satisfaction.
* Collaborate cross-functionally with the Executive Committee to drive operational excellence and continuous departmental improvement.

REQUIREMENTS
**What are we looking for?**
* Minimum **4\-5 years’ experience** managing groups and events in hotels, or alternatively, **at least 1 year as Conference Manager** in 4- or 5-star establishments.
* Experience leading teams and coordinating operational departments.
* Excellent organizational and planning skills.
* A solution-oriented, results-driven profile accustomed to managing multiple events simultaneously.
* Strong customer orientation and commitment to service excellence.
* Leadership, communication, and influencing skills.
* Advanced level of English (mandatory). Knowledge of other languages is an asset.
* Familiarity with hotel management systems and Microsoft Office.
