The professional will ensure the continuous operability of electrical systems, focusing on the supervision and maintenance of critical infrastructure such as electrical substations, transformers, distribution boards, and uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems. This involves developing and implementing strategies to guarantee electrical supply and prevent failures in production processes. Planning is a key part of the role, entailing the design and execution of a detailed preventive and predictive maintenance program. This program aims to avoid unexpected stoppages in production lines or mixing reactors, which is essential for the overall efficiency of the facilities. Resolving complex faults will be a daily responsibility, requiring rapid diagnosis and repair of electrical, electronic, or automation-related failures—such as those involving PLCs and frequency converters—always striving to minimize impact on production downtime. Additionally, the technician must proactively manage the inventory of critical components, monitoring spare parts stock and coordinating necessary purchases with established suppliers, thereby ensuring material availability for urgent interventions. Safety is a non-negotiable pillar; therefore, all installations and operations must strictly comply with the current Low- and High-Voltage Electrical Regulations, as well as all occupational risk prevention protocols and standards, ensuring a safe working environment for everyone.
Working hours are Monday to Friday, continuous shift from 8:00 to 17:00, with flexibility according to operational service needs. The established gross annual salary is €26,201 per year. A Medium-Level Vocational Training Certificate (FPGM) in Electricity, Electronics, Electromechanical Maintenance, or a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering is required. A minimum of two years of verifiable experience in electrical maintenance within industrial environments or continuous-production plants is mandatory. Required technical knowledge includes interpreting electrical schematics, operating PLCs and frequency converters, managing transformer substations, and applying relevant low- and high-voltage regulations. Leadership and team management skills, strong results orientation, and the ability to resolve incidents under pressure are also valued.
