**MISSION** Drive and implement the market access strategy for your Therapeutic Area for products under your responsibility, in line with company guidelines and fostering synergies across different functions to maximize the value of your therapeutic area, while ensuring that products under your responsibility are innovative, developed to be accessible to patients/customers, and deliver the expected benefit. **RESPONSIBILITIES** **1\. Strategic Planning** * Maintain deep knowledge of the current market landscape to execute actions that correctly position products under your responsibility, based on the strategy defined by the Core Value Team and inputs provided by the Value \& Access Lead. * Participate in developing an integrated and customized market access strategy for different stakeholders (Health Technology Assessment/Key Opinion Leaders/regional and hospital pharmacists, institutions, etc.) who influence/participate in the market access process for our medicines for products under your responsibility. * Ensure interactions and collaborations with stakeholders deliver differentiated value and support achievement of brand strategies. * Ensure resources are used as efficiently as possible, are balanced, and are aligned with the defined and operationalized strategy for the therapeutic area. * Lead implementation of Value strategies defined for the Value \& Access team, customized for each stakeholder (internal and external) based on their specific context and needs, contributing to securing each stakeholder’s access to AstraZeneca’s product portfolio. Appropriately manage available resources to address potential access barriers faced by stakeholders. **2\. Execution and Results** * Lead execution and implementation of selected Innovation Value Solutions projects and defined milestones, ensuring on one hand that they are differentiated and high-impact, and on the other that they are delivered on schedule (both timeliness and efficiency). Identify opportunities for continuous improvement to respond to emerging needs. * Ensure timely and proper implementation of defined access plans for brands, and confirm they meet defined objectives. * Evaluate and monitor market access Key Performance Indicators based on tracking plans established in the Market Access Strategy and aligned within the Core Value Team (as well as other success metrics) to ensure alignment with defined objectives, as well as plan compliance and quality. **3\. Stakeholder Management** * Based on your understanding of the healthcare environment and key stakeholders, ensure strong relationships are built with networks of experts and healthcare professionals/reference contacts, incorporating diverse perspectives on market access strategy and brand/product plans, thereby maintaining competitive advantage. * Develop cross-functional engagement plans for priority stakeholders (Health Technology Assessment/regional and hospital pharmacists, institutions, etc.) for products under your responsibility through prioritization, optimization, design, and execution of strategies and tactics that incorporate payer/key decision-maker input into access plans across product development and commercialization phases. * Project, in interactions with both internal and external customers: the image, added value of the product and service offered, and AstraZeneca’s corporate values. **4\. Cross-Functional Leadership** * Maintain a holistic perspective when implementing projects, integrating knowledge and contributions from all members of the cross-functional team, driving results through optimal decision-making. * Collaborate cross-functionally with various members of the Brand Teams for products under your responsibility, contributing to a cohesive, high-performing team throughout the product lifecycle, incorporating and promoting creative and innovative ideas. * Maintain and foster relationships (formal and informal) both within and outside the organization. * Serve as the central reference point for international access teams of the therapeutic area/brand, providing global teams with local insights and delivering valuable global insights to local teams to maximize the effectiveness of the strategy. **5\.
