Integration into a team of education professionals with extensive experience DESCRIPTION Fundación Loyola, an educational institution belonging to the Society of Jesus, seeks to hire a **General Services Manager** for its **Colegio San Ignacio de Loyola** in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. **Mission:** Ensure proper maintenance of the infrastructure of buildings under the Foundation’s jurisdiction, reporting directly to the School Administrator. **Main Responsibilities:** * Carry out comprehensive maintenance of the school and its facilities. * Coordinate and oversee the operation of all services related to facility, furniture, and equipment maintenance. * Monitor and ensure compliance with scheduled routine maintenance (legionella, fire extinguishers, elevators, disinfection and deratization). * Propose to management new investments and improvements regarding facilities and furniture. * Oversee matters related to energy efficiency and utilities supply. * Manage and supervise the activities of internal staff including reception, cleaning, and maintenance personnel. * Monitor and manage all issues affecting the physical condition of facilities, including repair and/or replacement needs. * Coordinate material and infrastructure support for school events and activities. * Directly manage IT maintenance and all matters related to servers, IT equipment, networks, etc. **Offered:** Opportunity to join an interesting institutional project presenting significant professional challenges, personal and professional development, as well as integration into a motivated team of experienced education professionals operating within an excellent working environment. **Contract type:** Permanent **Working hours:** 38 hours per week (full-time) **Start date:** Immediate **Salary range:** €18.718 – €23.297 gross annual Labor conditions according to the sector’s collective bargaining agreement. Application deadline: **22/04/2026** REQUIREMENTS Academic Qualifications: * Higher Technician qualification in installations and maintenance (Higher Vocational Training Cycle). Knowledge/Skills: * Specific training in building maintenance, basic network installations, and IT. * Occupational Health and Safety training. * Knowledge in at least one of the following areas: plumbing, electricity, carpentry. * Advanced office software skills. Experience: Minimum five years’ experience as General Services Manager and/or maintenance manager.
