We are currently seeking to **hire** a **Global Lead for Multidisciplinary Project Design Management** based in **Madrid**, who shares our commitment to **quality, responsibility, and excellent service.** **Key responsibilities and duties:** * Lead the project design organization. * Coordinate and supervise all technical disciplines: Civil, Structural, Architectural, Electrical, Mechanical, Fire Protection, ICT, Security, Controls & BMS. * Define the project design and execution strategy. * Manage internal and external design teams. * Lead Design Reviews with clients and stakeholders. * Ensure compliance with AWS standards and contractual requirements. * Resolve interfaces and conflicts among disciplines. * Supervise design scheduling. * Manage technical risks and project deviations. * Approve technical solutions and significant design changes. * Coordinate the Concept Design, Basis of Design, Detailed Design, and Construction Support phases. * Collaborate with Construction, Procurement, and Commissioning to ensure proper project execution. * Participate in defining design standards, methodologies, and best practices. * Act as the highest-level technical representative vis-à-vis the client. **We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications and competencies:** * Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or equivalent. * Over 15 years’ experience in complex engineering projects. * Proven experience leading international multidisciplinary teams. * Demonstrable experience in critical infrastructure projects. * Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. * English level C1–C2.
