**Who are we?** TETMA is a company specializing in environmental services, waste management, street cleaning, and urban services. We are seeking to hire an **Environmental Educator** to carry out information, awareness-raising, sensitization, and inspection activities in the municipality of **Bétera**. **What will be your mission?** The selected candidate’s main objective will be to **inform and raise citizens’ awareness regarding proper waste management**, promoting responsible habits and citizen participation in various environmental initiatives implemented in the municipality. In addition, the role includes **supporting the proper functioning of the service** through inspections and report writing. **We are looking for a person who:** * Is interested in the environment and sustainability. * Has strong communication skills. * Is proactive and capable of working autonomously. * Has a positive attitude and adaptability. * Can work both independently and as part of a team. * Is available to conduct activities throughout the municipality and travel across different areas of Bétera. **Requirements** * Education related to environmental fields, environmental education, environmental sciences, waste management, education, pedagogy, communication, or similar disciplines. * Prior experience in environmental education, public service, awareness campaigns, or similar roles will be valued. * Knowledge of waste management and separation practices will be valued. * Proficiency in computer tools. * Ability to use mobile applications and digital tools to record interventions. * A valid Class B driving license is desirable. * Flexible availability. **What do we offer?** * Permanent contract with TETMA. * Integration into a project aimed at improving waste management and environmental awareness. * Initial training on the service and the waste collection systems implemented in the municipality. * Dynamic work involving direct interaction with citizens. * Opportunities to participate in various environmental campaigns and activities. * A pleasant working environment. * Working hours primarily in the mornings, Monday to Friday, with variations depending on operational needs. * Salary paid in 14 installments per year, plus a bonus in March. **Workplace** The position will be based primarily in the **municipality of Bétera**, with activities potentially carried out across various neighborhoods, residential developments, commercial establishments, educational centers, public spaces, and other locations within the municipality. **Are you interested?** If you wish to join a project focused on improving waste management and fostering greater citizen commitment to environmental protection, **we want to meet you!** Salary: 18\.556,24€ per year Work location: On-site employment
