We are looking for a Data Engineering Lead responsible for defining, developing, and managing data ingestion processes (batch and streaming) on the Big Data platform, ensuring correct data availability, quality, and processing for various business use cases. You will lead ingestion of structured and unstructured data, document all processes, and guarantee their accessibility to internal users and auditors. You will collaborate closely with the Architecture team on the upcoming migration to Google Cloud Platform and maintain continuous monitoring of the data lake and its ingestions. You will act as the liaison with business units to understand requirements and ensure data model consistency. You will coordinate new developments, supervise less experienced staff, and support Data Governance initiatives. Additionally, you will make technical decisions to resolve incidents and ensure the smoothness and reliability of the Big Data ecosystem. We would love to meet you if you have: A degree in Computer Science or related field. 5 years of experience in Big Data projects. Professional-level English proficiency. Knowledge of Hive, Impala, Kudu, Spark Streaming, Kafka Streams, and Control-M. Experience in data ingestion (batch and streaming) and Big Data ecosystems. Ability to document processes, coordinate with business units, and resolve technical incidents.
