Description
We are seeking a delivery driver to carry out daily logistics and package distribution tasks in the Picassent area and surrounding regions. The workday begins with loading cargo into the assigned vehicle, following safety procedures to ensure proper securing and weight distribution. Next, the delivery route is planned and deliveries are executed using a PDA device to manage shipments, scan packages, and confirm each delivery, thereby ensuring traceability and inventory control.
During the route, the driver must adapt to traffic conditions and possible unforeseen events, always prioritizing road safety. Direct customer interaction is also essential—whether receiving packages or providing information on shipment status—requiring strong communication skills and a professional, courteous demeanor. Route efficiency and time management are critical to meeting daily delivery volumes.
Upon completing the route, the vehicle must be inspected and any incidents related to deliveries or equipment reported. The employee is responsible for the assigned vehicle and materials during their shift and must maintain a proactive, solution-oriented attitude toward any situation. This is a temporary, full-time position within a dynamic environment where activities vary according to the daily demand of the parcel service.
Applicants must have at least one year of prior experience in delivery or distribution roles. A Class B1 driving license, held for a minimum of one year since issuance, is mandatory. Candidates must have at least eight valid points on their driver’s license. A personal vehicle is required to reach the operational base at the start of the workday. Immediate availability for the position and flexibility to work Monday through Sunday, as scheduled, are highly valued.
