We are looking to hire an Accounting Technician to join our team at our offices in Playa del Inglés (Gran Canaria). **Who are we looking for?** We are seeking someone passionate about data who will support the Finance and Accounting department by providing reliable, high-quality, and timely management information and analysis regarding costs and key performance indicators. **Mission** Ensure that accounts accurately reflect the company's true financial situation, supporting closing processes, reporting, taxes, as well as coordinating the auxiliary team. **Tasks** * Bank reconciliations. * Data entry for invoices (accounts payable / receivable). * Monitoring customer and supplier payments. * Assisting in audits and preparing supporting documentation. * General administrative and accounting tasks. * Supporting the finance team in daily operations. * Establishing and maintaining the company's financial reporting. * Budget analysis. * Periodic updates of cash flows, variance analysis, and reporting to managers. * Monitoring and reviewing financial forecasts, identifying areas for improvement and possible solutions. * Reporting variances to management, in collaboration with the head of the Accounting and Finance department. **Requirements** * Degree in Business Administration, Economics, or equivalent qualification. * Basic knowledge of accounting principles. * Familiarity with accounting software (ideally Business Central). * Proficient in Microsoft Excel. * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. * Ability to work in a team and proactive attitude. * Spanish required and basic level of English. **What we offer** * Temporary employment contract with the possibility of becoming permanent, along with professional development opportunities and long-term career prospects within the company. * Flexible working hours. * Competitive salary commensurate with demonstrable education and experience. * International work environment, with teams in Spain, Germany, Hungary, Austria, Croatia, among others. * Free coffee provided by the company to start the day energized. * Exclusive discounts on hotels and gyms. * Great discounts in our stores featuring the best market brands. **If you are also passionate about cycling, you'll be a perfect match for the team!** Job type: Temporary contract Contract duration: 6 months Salary: €17,000.00-€19,000.00 per year Benefits: * Support for professional development * Flexible working hours * Option for permanent contract Education: * Bachelor's degree (Required) Experience: * Accounting: 1 year (Desirable) Language: * English (Desirable) Work Location: On-site
