Together, we will create a truly transformative learning experience. **Key Responsibilities:** * Support teachers in promoting effective teaching and learning in the classroom. * Deliver planned lesson sequences during short-term teacher absences. * Take responsibility for the proper care and use of materials and equipment. * Provide general administrative and office support as required, including tasks related to transportation, childcare, and daily routines. * Ensure the health and safety of all students. * Accompany students between classrooms and buses. * Actively supervise during break and lunch times. * Participate in school-wide initiatives as required. * Build trust with students, colleagues, and families. * Motivate and engage students in their learning. **Planning, Teaching and Classroom Management:** * Establish a strong subject presence. * Continuously work to improve the quality of student learning. * Collaborate effectively with colleagues and demonstrate commitment to continuous improvement. * Make a significant contribution to whole-school development planning and support the learning priorities set out in the school’s development plan. * Teach students to help them achieve their full potential by addressing individual needs, maintaining high standards of behaviour and discipline, and creating a safe and purposeful learning environment. * Use modern technology to enhance learning experiences. * Engage in the online **Nord Anglia Education Global Campus** and other opportunities for collaboration, innovation, and competition. **Qualifications / Training:** * Teaching qualification * Degree in Primary Education **Experience / Knowledge:** * Minimum of 1 year’s teaching experience. * Native-level Spanish. * Catalan and English (desirable). * Experience in monitoring, assessing, recording, and reporting on student progress. * Adherence to school policies, especially those relating to equal opportunities, health and safety, and child protection. * Knowledge of effective teaching and learning strategies. * Understanding of how to meet the individual needs of all children through classroom organisation and learning approaches. * Ability to work collaboratively with families. * Experience teaching across the full primary age range. **Required Skills:** * Proven experience of successful teaching. * Ability to create a positive, challenging, and effective learning environment. * Strong teamwork and relationship-building skills. * Ability to establish and maintain close relationships with families and the wider community. * Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, for diverse audiences. * Commitment to creating a motivating and supportive learning environment. * Active participation in the school’s extracurricular programme. **Personal Attributes:** * High personal integrity. * Excellent organisational and time-management skills. * Attention to detail. * Ability to work well under pressure while remaining calm. * Willingness to take on multiple tasks and responsibilities.
