We are seeking a Data Analyst to drive the development of CaixaBank's information layer and deliver direct value to the business and management. Your mission will be to transform data — both structured and unstructured — into actionable insights that enhance understanding of the business, market, and our customers, while identifying opportunities for improvement and growth. You will join a cross-functional team and assume a key end-to-end analyst role, combining ad-hoc analysis, process automation, KPI definition, dashboard development, and active participation in migrating our processes and projects to the cloud environment. This role is ideal for someone with initiative, strong analytical capabilities, curiosity, and eagerness to assume a broad and impactful role within the team. **Responsibilities include:** Managing relationships with customers (management and business areas). Serving as the regular point of contact with management and business areas to understand needs and translate them into data-driven solutions. Prioritizing and planning projects and recurring requests. Managing expectations, tracking progress, and communicating results. Executing projects covering the full information analysis lifecycle. Gathering business information requirements. Exploring data in Datapool and/or external sources — from search through data processing to generating required information. Proposing and developing KPIs. Building reports/analyses to present information. Communicating results to customers. Designing, developing, maintaining, and automating processes for recurring follow-ups or one-off requests. **To perform these functions, you must:** Possess technical knowledge to produce the business-required reports. Have analytical capabilities enabling understanding of business logic and proposing new ideas or strategies to support its growth. Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills, creativity, and attention to detail in information visualization and communication. Minimum Requirements University degree in sciences or engineering. Strong data analysis and management capabilities, with proficiency in analytical tools and database exploitation: advanced SQL, fluency in Data Discovery and Statistical Analysis, Python, GIT, Airflow. Programming language training. Dashboard development using visualization tools such as QlikSense, Tableau, Looker, etc. Advanced office suite skills (Excel, PowerPoint, etc). **Preferred qualifications:** Experience working with or analyzing different customer interaction channels (digital, branch, etc.). Previous experience with Google Cloud or other cloud platforms (AWS, etc.). Prior experience in banking analytics/BI departments. Capable of developing and implementing analytical solutions (e.g., dashboards, predictive models) to address the entity’s business use cases holistically (i.e., from problem understanding through implementation and monitoring). Familiar with and applies best practices in software and machine learning model development.
