We are looking for an API REST Governance Engineer to join a strategic project at a major banking client of Glintt Next, leading the design, definition, and governance of REST APIs while ensuring standards, quality, and security. What will your day-to-day look like at Glintt Next? * Design, define, and document APIs (Swagger/OpenAPI, RAML; and familiarity with AsyncAPI). * Manage lifecycle governance: versioning, documentation, monitoring, and deprecation. * Define API types, layers, policies, and corporate standards. * Promote best practices: quality assurance through reports/scoring and validation criteria. * Collaborate on automation and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) (pipelines, validations, checks). * Manage catalogs and domains (API inventory, ownership, consistency). * Participate in strategy and evangelization: workshops, internal sessions, and adoption. * Work with business and technology stakeholders to maximize API value. * Ensure advanced security: OAuth, JWT, IdP, certificates, mTLS. What do we believe you need? * Mid-level experience in API design + API governance (REST). * Proficiency in API documentation and definition (Swagger/OpenAPI; ideal if you know AsyncAPI/RAML). * Practical knowledge of lifecycle management, policies, standards, and observability. * Experience with API security (OAuth/JWT/IdP/certificates/mTLS). * Ability to lead, coordinate, and translate requirements between business and technology. * Bonus: familiarity with BIAN architecture.
