Job Summary: We are seeking a Project Engineer for Construction Works for our Technical Office in Catalonia to participate in energy rehabilitation projects and manage subsidy applications. DESCRIPTION At CAPIA Management, we specialize in the energy rehabilitation of buildings and residential units, leveraging support and subsidies from the Next Generation EU Funds. We act as either a Rehabilitation Agent or Rehabilitation Manager, offering the market a turnkey service covering the entire process—from the initial Technical Project, through subsidy application processing, financing management, to construction and installation execution. Currently, we are looking for a Project Engineer for Construction Works for our Technical Office in Catalonia, as part of our delegation team headquartered in Barcelona. Within the team, responsibilities will include core engineering functions such as: * Knowledge of and experience in designing aerothermal and photovoltaic installation projects, primarily. * Conducting energy certifications and audits. * Defining and implementing internal, organizational, and activity automation processes. * Collaborating with the architecture team on energy rehabilitation projects for residential buildings and other structures. * We seek a candidate with a strong sensitivity and basic understanding of sustainability, carbon footprint, and energy transition, who wishes to join an established, growing company with significant long-term prospects. **RESPONSIBILITIES** * Those inherent to a Project Engineer for Construction Works, and all others necessary to ensure proper development of the company’s energy rehabilitation projects within the assigned region, guaranteeing achievement of the following objectives: * Compliance with applicable regulations, especially the Spanish Technical Building Code (CTE), the Regulation on Thermal Installations in Buildings (RITE), and municipal regulations. * Economic optimization of the project (most efficient design and maximum subsidy recovery). * Appropriate project definition to ensure reliable tendering of works, correct execution (free from inconsistencies or insufficient detail), and proven solutions that avoid or minimize subsequent issues. * Strict adherence to project development timelines. * Specifically, the candidate must: * Coordinate activities within the Technical Management team, aligned with the company’s overall technical and strategic direction: * o Building Technical Inspections (ITE), * o Existing Building Logbooks (LEE), * o Energy Efficiency Certifications, * o Energy Rehabilitation Projects for Buildings, * o Processing of Grants and Subsidies, * o Site visits, work control, and progress monitoring. * Report directly to the Technical Director, providing full support to achieve project production goals, and interact with the Commercial Department to deliver necessary technical support for commercial proposals—including preliminary technical studies, calculations, documentation, presentations, and on-site assistance when required. REQUIREMENTS **REQUIREMENTS** * Technical or Senior Engineer degree. * Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role. * Experience liaising with local or national government authorities and utility providers regarding permits, licenses, and subsidies. * Experience in installations and/or rehabilitation projects and construction works. * Prior knowledge and experience in energy rehabilitation is desirable. * Experience using the Presto measurement software and energy certification tools: CE3X, HULC, CERMA. * Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. * Willingness and ability to travel. **COMPETENCIES** * A work philosophy grounded in effort and responsibility. * Technical vision combined with a holistic, client-oriented perspective. * Results-driven orientation. * Analytical capability. * Adaptability to change.
