WASTE FACILITY OPERATOR (TEMPORARY)

Job Summary: Waste facility operators are responsible for managing waste facilities, assisting users, maintaining cleanliness, and reporting incidents. Key Responsibilities: 1. Customer service with kindness and courtesy 2. Management and maintenance of a clean and orderly facility 3. Classification and registration of waste inflows and outflows Serveis Ambientals del Vallès Oriental, S.A. requires temporary staff to fill positions of waste facility operators across various municipalities. • Open and close the waste facility at scheduled hours. • Serve users with kindness and courtesy, and clarify their doubts regarding the facility’s operation. • Assist users in unloading waste, if necessary. • Inform users and municipal teams about the correct location and method for depositing each type of waste. • Register waste inflows and outflows. • Maintain the facility clean and orderly. • Daily inspection and reporting of incidents (e.g., illegal dumping at the entrance, holes, water leaks, damages, etc.). • Notify supervisors immediately in case of any incident. • Collect the applicable public fee when required. * Minimum 1 year of experience. - Experience in customer-facing roles or public service (e.g., hospitality, catering, reception, etc.). - Experience in warehouses or logistics departments involving classification, loading/unloading of materials, entry record control, and maintaining order and cleanliness of the workspace. - Experience in the waste sector performing tasks related to waste management, street cleaning, or environmental services. - Experience using workplace technologies (e.g., computers or PDAs). * Lower Secondary Education Certificate * Catalan (spoken advanced, written advanced) * Spanish (spoken advanced, written advanced) * Availability of personal vehicle * Driving license: B * Temporary employment contract (3 months) * Full-time schedule * Additional relevant information: Gross annual remuneration: 24\.660,16 €
