Braun Medical, S.A. U. Job Posting Location: Rubí, Barcelona, Spain Functional Area: Quality Working Model: Onsite Requisition ID: 9395 We are seeking a Quality Control Technician at **B. Braun Medical, S.A.**, based at our headquarters in Rubí, reporting to the Head of Chemical Quality Control HC/Farma, on a split-shift schedule, for an indefinite-term contract. **Responsibilities** * Organize and coordinate, delegated by the Head of Chemical Quality Control and Technical Managers, the necessary tests for approval or rejection of finished products and in-process products for Medical and Surgical lines, covering chemical testing at both methodological and operational levels, as well as data recording. * Receive transfers of analytical chemical methods. * GMP/ISO documentation (SOPs, CAPAs, SMPs, Validations, OOS and INCs…). * Results Reports, Activity Reports and KPIs. Monitoring of required sampling and testing activities. Direct support in sampling. Direct support in analysis. Deviations, OOS (Out of Specification) and INCs (Incidents). * Recording of analytical data, reagents, standards, calibrations. Review of results. * Stock management of materials. * Participate in required training activities and internal audits. * Lead and/or participate in, and comply with, preventive and corrective actions established within the Integrated Management System. * Lead and/or participate in meetings—among others—with Quality Management, R&D, PLCM, NutriService, Regulatory Affairs, Vetcare and Industrial Sales to provide necessary data. Collaboration and participation in local meetings and with other sites. Lead and/or participate in global and local projects for documentation, methodology, instrumentation harmonization, project tracking, and method transfers. Internal continuous improvement activities. * **Requirements** * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Chemical Engineering or related field. * Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar position. * In-depth knowledge of analytical chemistry and instrumental analytical techniques, primarily HPLC, and others such as UV-Vis, potentiometric titrations, atomic absorption and emission spectroscopy. * Evaluation and investigation of OOS and OOE results. * In-depth knowledge of GMPs and data integrity. * Knowledge of validation and transfer of analytical chemical methods. * Knowledge of equipment verification and calibration, as well as troubleshooting skills for laboratory equipment/instruments. * Proficiency with computer systems and advanced Excel skills; advanced knowledge of OpenLab HPLC software (intelligent reporting + automated calculations). * Experience with LIMS will be valued. * Advanced level of English.
