At ONCE, we are seeking an Optician for an indefinite position at our Territorial Delegation in Catalonia. WHAT WILL YOU DO DAILY? * Assess refractive status, evaluate and analyze the needs of ONCE members. * Recommend specialized optical aids for low vision. * Coordinate with other Rehabilitation Service professionals, ophthalmologists, and ONCE rehabilitation technicians. * Manage orders with various commercial suppliers. * Review and adapt prescribed aids upon completion of the rehabilitation process, where required. * Deliver training courses within your area of expertise. WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU? (Requirements) * Official Bachelor’s Degree in Optics and Optometry. For foreign university degrees, official recognition (homologation) in Spain is required. * Valid professional registration. * Availability to work split shifts. WHAT ELSE DO WE VALUE? (Desirable Qualifications) * Prior experience. * Additional training in low vision. * Knowledge of English. * Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team. * Minimum two years’ experience will be valued.
